1. Participation = students must take part in class activity.

2. Preparations = to promote safety and hygiene. No cutoffs or tank tops.

3. Skills = application of physical skills in testing and game situations.

4. Written Tests = average of tests/quizzes on unit activities.

5. Unacceptable conduct leading to a lack of cooperation or unsafe situations may result in a deduction of points in the area of participation.

6. Physical fitness will be handled by the base teacher. It can be included in skills portions of grade.

7. A positive leadership quality may result in additional points to improve the area of participation.

8. Additional unpreparedness beyond 4 will result in I point (each occurrence) from the student's total marking period points.

Physical Fitness Testing Information

Grading
1. Counts as 25% of final exam for grades 9-11
2. Grade 12 score counts on 4th marking period grade if exempt from final exam
3. Maximum points for test items is 24 pts.
4. One point bonus at teacher's discretion.
